Next-generation smart station monitoring solution
Built around NSA-series Smart Station Monitoring Units, covering the full chain from local box-type transformer monitoring and control to centralized plant-wide supervision.
Architecture
A complete chain from box-type transformer to SCADA
The SCADA, the NSA6002 and the NSA3 in each box-type transformer form one integrated network: a fiber ring keeps communication reliable, and 433 MHz wireless temperature sensing covers measurement points that are hard to wire.
- Plant SCADA: the SCADA communicates with the NSA6002 over Ethernet through a vertical encryption device, aggregating plant-wide data for centralized monitoring.
- Fiber ring network: the NSA6002 and the NSA3 in each box-type transformer are linked in a fiber ring; the ring topology keeps communication running if a single fiber breaks.
- Local transformer monitoring: each NSA3 collects the status of its transformer, circuit breaker, load switch, enclosure doors and more on site.
- Wireless temperature sensing and measurement: cable-joint temperature sensors connect via 433 MHz wireless and zero-sequence CTs connect to the NSA3, solving measurements such as cable-joint temperature that are hard to wire.
- External devices: inverters, combiner boxes and other external devices can also connect to the NSA3 and are reported to the SCADA in one place.
